Dear Parents:

I wonder how many of us realize how good a school St. John's really is?
We have much to thank God for in our School.

First is our faculty. We have a good mix of men and women, experience and youth,
with a total of 75 years experience between them. They are Christian people willing
to make personal sacrifices for the welfare of our children. They are the male and
female role models that our children need.

Second is our class size. For the last several years we have averaged about 15 pupils
per teacher. This is an excellent setting for students to get one-on-one instruction, coaching
and supervision. The best public schools rarely have less than 20 pupils per classroom,
many are closer to 30. This leads to another blessing.

This third blessing is our congregation which has made Christian Education of the young
to be a major focus of its ministry. For over 72 years, St. John's congregation has taken
responsibility for providing a Christian School for our community. The sacrificial offerings
of our congregation members make this school ministry possible.

A fourth blessing is our association with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod which
operates the largest Protestant parochial school system in America. Our Synod makes
teachers trained and experienced in school ministry available to us, provides legal and
professional guidance, and most of all encourages us to remain faithful to the mission
of teaching what Christ taught.

Blessings in Christ
St. John's Lutheran School
